The Bariatric Toileting Shower Chair is designed for heavy-duty use and provides a versatile solution for toileting and assisted showering. It can be wheeled over a standard toilet or Clos-O-Mat and is dimensionally designed to provide bariatric seating while fitting through a standard door. The chair features a robust steel frame with a nylon-modified antibacterial epoxy powder-coated finish, while the polyurethane seat and back provide a soft-feel, easy-clean surface. The reversible seat includes an access gap to assist with personal hygiene from the front and rear. Detachable, swing-away arms and clip-on, swing-away footplates provide greater flexibility during transfers. Adjustable pram handles allow carers to achieve a suitable pushing position, while the reinforced back framework is designed to fit flush with a toilet cistern. The chair is fitted with substantial 125mm (5-inch) braked castors all round and supports a maximum user weight of 254kg / 40st.
